This Mount functions as good as it looks. I think that the unit could use more space to run the cables however. I also wish the mount came with an ambilical cable loom so the installation was even cleaner (My TV is not right above the mount)
Overall excellent value! |

Our old TV went out on us. My wife and I decided to start up grading our home theater system, we started with a 42" plasma screen TV, a full motion wall mount and the OmniMount TRIA shelves. Now the entertainment center is gone and everything is on the wall.
The directions are a little confusing and some instructions are missing. Once you figure the installation out it's a breeze. One tip is secure all of your wires and have them placed were you want them before attempting to snap on the covers. I used the small zip ties to cut down on the space behind the covers. I had take the covers off several times before I got the wires were I wanted them. All in all it's a great product and it cleared up a lot of floor space for our toddler to play. She also can't find the wires to pull the components off the shelves. |
Just what I was looking for......,

I think these are great shelves, especially for the application I wanted them for. I was going to build some shelves, but these fit the bill just fine, and it probably turned out cheaper than what I was going to build. I wanted something for our bedroom that didn't look like it had been recycled from my family room.
They were easy to install, and I like the way the cover stands out far enough to go past the baseboard to allow you to hide the cable and speaker wires behind it. I noticed these at Circuit City for about $200.00 with Tax. I don't think I would have paid that much for it, but for $110.00 @ HIDEF Lifestyle no tax & free shipping, I bought 2 of them.
The size of the shelves were not a problem as long as you don't have anything bigger than a Cable Box. There was plenty of room for my wiring, but this is in my bedroom and I just went with the speaker wire that came with the Home Theater in a box, and I used HDMI and Optical cables. If you want to impress your friends by blowing a bunch of bucks on "Monster Cable" you are probably not going to fit 5 or 6 12 ga. speaker wires and some component cables in the track. |
Great Value, Clean Lines

This product ended a long search for a storage piece for my equipment. The straight lines and simple features proved to be the perfect companion for our finished home entertainment system.
Very easy to install, and a solid piece of furniture. The wire management features perfectly concealed the cables which my wife disliked so much. Comparable prices were 4x the price of this one, and I can not find a reason for this. I see no reduction in quality of materials and/or workmanship. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a similar item. |
Very good with excellent price

| Easy assembly works very well. I installed a home entertainment system on it with no problems and no worry about it falling off the shelf. Hard ware more then adequate to install. |

| Very attractive and sturdy shelving option for components. Easy installation and includes all hardware needed to install in drywall or concrete. When writing reviews, I try to find a few +'s and a few -'s. I really cannot find any -'s with this product. I guess if I tried real hard to find something negative, the cable management could be improved having notches at shelf locations but that would impact the flexability of shelving locations... A Dremel or drillbit hole addresses that. Notch out where you would like to cables to come out. |
